FAQ

What should I expect at my first dental visit?
If you are coming in as a non-emergency patient, your first dental visit at our office will generally consist of a doctor’s exam, x-rays, oral cancer screening, gum tissue measurements, and a cleaning.  This information gathering session will provide insight not only into your oral health, but your overall health.

How long is my first visit?
Your first visit at our office will be between 60-90 minutes.

What should I do to prepare for my first visit?
To work as efficiently as possible, a new patient link will be sent via email.  If you are able to fill out the paperwork in advance it will help us facilitate your appointment, if not, please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.  If you have any current X-rays, please email them to [email protected].

What should I do if I am in pain and need to schedule an emergency appointment or reach the doctor?
If you are in pain and need to reach us during regular business hours, please call our office (703) 281 0902.  If you are calling outside our regular office hours, please call Dr. Maharaja’s emergency line
